Description

Ardoch Youth Foundation is a national not for profit organisation working to make education a reality for children and young people including those experiencing homelessness and disadvantage. Ardoch believes that education provides the means for creating options and choices in life. Ardoch understands that poverty and disadvantage are determinants in a child’s educational outcomes and recognises that too many early childhood centres, primary and secondary schools lack the resources and ability to respond adequately to young people in difficult circumstances.

In 2011, Ardoch is providing wellbeing support and increased learning opportunities to over 15,000 students at nearly 60 early learning, primary and secondary schools across Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane and Perth. We achieve this by linking schools corporate organisations and communities to generate resources that support and facilitate programs and activities to assist schools, children and their families.
