Assisi Aid Projects Inc. is a non profit organisation - Australian based in Melbourne. Financially, it relies on donors, government and other grants. Volunteers keep our costs low.
Assisi works with the poor villagers of India, Cambodia, Maldives and Timor-Leste. The community groups in these countries are beginning to share their experiences in the Assisi way. Also Assisi-style Train-the-Trainer courses involve local villagers. Additionally Assisi villagers enjoy a mix of Self Help Groups, micro credit support, children’s parliaments and health services - especially mother and baby health.
