Association of Employees with Disability / AED Legal Centre
Description
AED Legal Centre is a member of the Victorian Federation of Community Legal Centres.Our main objective is to champion the rights of people with a disability who experience difficulties or discrimination in employment or education because they have a disability.
At the Centre we:
- Advocate workplace solutions on behalf of employees with a disability;
- Educate employees with a disability about their rights and employment law – so that they can make better informed decisions;
- Draft complaints of discrimination or unlawful dismissal;
- Provide legal representation in the state/federal justice system
- Assists employees on how to disclose their disability to employers
