Founded in 1982, Conservation Volunteers Australia links concerned volunteers with managed conservation projects. Teams of volunteers assist with projects such as tree planting, track construction, wildlife surveys, weed control and heritage restoration across Australia. CVA welcomes over 14,000 volunteers annually on projects in urban, rural and remote locations. CVA is both non-political and not-for-profit.
