Since 1967, Cure Cancer Australia has directed over $11 million of vital seed funding to research scientists at the start of their careers – a time when funding is scarce and breakthroughs are most likely. Due to cancer research, 60% of those diagnosed with cancer will be alive in 5 years time – a considerable improvement over time and a result we hope continues to improve.We are always inspired by the dedication and generosity of those who join us in our mission to unlock a cure for cancer. Supporting the Foundation directly contributes to the promising research projects Cure Cancer Australia funds each year in the hope that a cure for cancer is discovered. We rely on the generosity of the community to generate essential funding for outstanding Australian cancer researchers.
