Cystic Fibrosis Association of WA

Description

Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia’s (CFWA) mission is to contribute to the social, physical and emotional wellbeing of those affected by Cystic Fibrosis in WA and to assist in the promotion of research. We are a not-for-profit organisation and rely heavily on the generosity of community members and sponsors. CFWA provides a number of services for these people including: home care services, a hospital transition program, hospital survival kits, Hospital in the Home support (HITH) and equipment hire; newly diagnosed packs and support; community and country outreach; an annual expo; fundraising events e.g. 65 Roses Day, Great Strides Walkathon, Spring Rose Art Show; library resources; counselling and education; newsletters; advocacy and lobbying; recreation activities for parents, kids and siblings of people living with CF; a regional respiratory training programme; community nursing and comprehensive physiotherapy assessment programs.
