Description

Dial-A-Mum is a telephone support line for everyone in the community with an issue or perhaps a health problem who needs a caring listener, started 31 years ago by a psychiatrist, Paul Finlayson.
We provide all volunteers with 12 weeks training in listening skills, grief, mental health issues.
We have fortnightly workshops for all volunteers to maintain their professional development and for debriefing.
