Duchenne Foundation (formerly Parent Project Australia)shares the same mission: to promote the most "the biggest killer of young males you've never heard of" in order to advance, research, education, treatment and the care of boys and youths with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Duchenne is a genetic disease which affects 1 in 3,300 males in every race and country. It is not strictly hereditary - it can happen to anyone, out of the blue. Our branding encompasses TheBlueBall because "every boy deserves to play".
