Description

EDAR is a non-profit community based organisation which operates across a range of locations in Melbourne's Eastern Metropolitan Region. We are committed to providing quality personalised opportunities for adults with a disability and supporting individuals to be valued and included in the community.

EDAR will support the person to achieve this vision by:

Encouraging the principles of rights, independence and choice about how the person wants to live and what supports are needed;
Developing and building upon the individuals existing skills, knowledge and experiences to make a valued contribution to their community;
Assisting the person to achieve their goals and dreams by developing networks to achieve the desired outcomes;
Regularly reviewing the progress and services provided to ensure each person's specific needs and requirements are being met to enable them to continue to grow and develop.

EDAR's services are intimate and therefore have the ability to be more individualised. Clients commence each day at a particular service however access a range of programs and activities across EDAR's various locations and the wider community during the week.
