Girl Guides Australia is a volunteer organisation and is part of the largest movement of girls and young women in the world, with over 10 million members in 145 countries. Our mission is to empower girls and young women to become confident, self-respecting, responsible community members.
We welcome girls and young women aged 5 – 30 and provide a safe, girls only space where Members participate in arrange of activities to develop self confidence and the skills to be their best. Guides achieve goals, improve communities and get to have fun by taking part in everything from community events to learning new skills such as surfing, juggling and how to save a life.
Our program is also aligned to important initiatives such as the United Nations Millennium Development Goals and by participating, girls and young women get to make a difference locally, globally and nationally.
