The Margaret Pratt Foundation Heart Lung Transplant Trust is a registered charity whose mission is to encourage, develop and maintain Australia's world class expertise in the field of organ transplantation. It supports research programs through grants directly allocated to specific research projects.Those eligible for grants are established members of academic and medical staff in transplant centres and research institutes. The aim of the research must be to improve the outcomes for heart and lung transplant recipients.
