MCHS provides a range of services including: dental, varied allied health disciplines, generalist and specialist counselling programs, aged and disability services, case management, family support and carer support programs, and social support programs for people with a mental illness as well as health promotion programs.The northern municipality of Moreland has a diverse population of around 144000. A high proportion of residents were born overseas, and nearly half rely upon Government benefits for most of their income. Services provided attempt to reflect this make-up – including the use of bilingual staff and interpreters.
