Our vision
MyEnvironment is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation that seeks to advance sustainable development and ecological protection and restoration through education and learning, science, law, community mobilisation and building of supportive partnerships.

We have extensive experience in long-term community education, networking and partnerships with government, universities, business, philanthropies and the not-for-profit sector.

Our mission
To bring people and ideas together for the conservation of Australia’s natural places through science, law, design and the community.

Goals
-To Increase the extent, condition, connectivity and resilience of native habitat, vegetation and landscapes.
-Develop integrated biodiversity projects to protect, enhance or restore high conservation value ecosystems, including the habitats of nationally threatened species or endangered ecological communities.
-Develop within local communities, a greater understanding and appreciation of their natural environment and empower communities to protect, restore and manage their environment in accordance with the principles of ecological sustainability.
-Develop comprehensive regional biodiversity strategies.
Reduce critical threats, improving or restoring values of World Heritage and National Heritage natural places.
-Reduce the impact of Invasive Plant and Animal Species.
-Fund and innovate design projects that meet ecologically sustainable principles.
-Fund and innovate law reform that enhances the protection and health of biodiversity.
