R.I.S.E (Refugees, Survivors and Ex-Detainees) is a not-for-profit incorporated association. R.I.S.E is an unique organisation which is governed by refugees/asylum seeker and Ex-detainees. R.I.S.E exists to enable refugees to build new lives by providing advice, engaging in community development, enhancing opportunity, and campaigning for refugee rights.

An exciting new volunteer position has arisen to join R.I.S.E organisation to develop and design a new R.I.S.E website. The successful applicant will be responsible for the look and feel of the website, themes and user interface, tasked with conceptualising and designing the graphics and layout.

You must have knowledge and experience with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL. Previous experience working on open-source projects in a large scale environment will be considered an advantage.

• CS3 - InDesign,Illustrator
• Adobe Acrobat 8
• Flash
• Fireworks
• JQuery
• CMS experience
