Description

Reconnexion (formerly TRANX & PADA) was established to provide information and counselling services for people who had become dependent on prescribed tranquillisers and sleeping pills (benzodiazepines)and to raise awareness of the risks of dependency on these drugs. Anxiety and Depression information and counselling were added later in response to need. Reconnexion has a telephone support & information line manned by trained volunteers which operates from 9:00 - 5:00, Monday to Friday.

We have group treatment programs as well as one to one counselling and operate in Glen Iris, Melton and Northcote.
