Description

The State Library of Western Australia (SLWA) was established under the terms of the Library Board of Western Australia Act 1951-83. Since July 1997, SLWA has also been a service delivery agency within the Department of Culture & the Arts. Public library services are provided through a partnership between local governments (and other authorities) and the State Library.
