Volunteer Alliance Ashburton recruits, trains and supports hundreds of volunteers for four community organisations in Boroondara:Ashburton Support Services (Auspicing organisation)
Alamein Community Committee
Samarinda Aged Services (including Elsie Salter House).
Ashburton Support Services aims to provide clients with the necessary support services they need to be able to remain in their own community. Services include volunteer recruitment, planned activity programmes, trip and excursions, meals on wheels, opportunity shop, podiatry and hairdressing.
