YEAH (Youth Empowerment Against HIV/AIDS) was founded in March 2005 as an Australian youth led health promotion organisation dedicated to engaging, educating and empowering young Australians aged 15-29 to lead HIV/AIDS awareness in their local communities.

YEAH is a non-profit health promotion organisation and structured as a public company limited by guarantee, governed by a board of directors. Due to its charitable status, YEAH has been registered as a Deductable Gift Recipient (DGR) that entitles the organisation to receive tax deductable donations/gifts.

Now in its fifth year of operations, YEAH has distributed educational resources to over 200 secondary schools and a large number of universities, TAFEs and other community based networks across Australia. In addition to the distribution of resources, YEAH’s core business includes peer education training and the delivery of educational outreach workshops that have enabled the organisation to grow a large and diverse network of contacts across a board range of sectors including education, youth and health.
