Youthlaw

Description

Youthlaw is a specialist young people's community legal centre in Victoria. Youthlaw aims to:
§ Provide free and confidential legal advice, information and casework services to young people up to the age of 25 years
§ Provide education programs for young people about their legal rights and responsibilities
§ Provide advice and information to advocates for children and young people about how the law affects young people
§ Advocate on justice policy issues for young people
§ Work with young people to make a difference.

Youthlaw runs a drop in clinic each weekday from 2pm-5pm, outreach to braybrook yiouth hub, advice from a CBD youth bus in the evening, webcam based advice online to 6 rural and regional youth centres and phone and email legal information.

Youthlaw is based at Frontyard Youth Services, a series of co-located youth services in Melbourne CBD providing support to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
