Volunteer Project Scoping Template
The Volunteer Project Scoping template has been designed by goodcompany to encourage best practice when designing skilled volunteering projects. The template should be used as a planning and communication tool for each new skilled volunteering project you are seeking to fill.
The purpose of the guidelines are to provide community groups with an easy to use document that enables you to:
1. consider a broad range of issues when scoping skilled volunteering projects;
2. document the scope, timeframes, responsibilities and expected outcomes from the project; and
3. provide the assigned volunteer with a professional introduction to your organisation, your mission, vision and the project.
When preparing your volunteer project you should incorporate all information which you believe to be relevant. The completed document should be provided to the goodcompany volunteer either at or before your first meeting. This will ensure that the volunteer is fully briefed and able to commence work on your project with minimal delays.
