Brain Injury Australia
Brain Injury Australia is the peak acquired brain injury (ABI) advocacy body representing the needs of people with an ABI, their families and carers. Acquired brain injury refers to any damage to the brain that occurs after birth. That damage can be caused by an accident or trauma, by a stroke, a brain infection, a disease or by alcohol and other drugs. Over 500,000 Australians have an ABI.
Volunteer helps Wheelchair Sports WA add up the stats!
Wheelchair Sports WA were looking for someone to help them by setting up an online member survey tool, and then to analyse the results at the end of the survey.

A colourful design helps Youth Festival look into the future
Twenty10 is a long standing community organisation working across NSW with young people, communities and families of diverse genders and sexualities. Anastacia Raft from RAFT Communications responded to their volunteer ad on goodcompany. She involved her team at RAFT and together they created a winning logo and poster for the Festival that added a lot of colour and a lot of impact.

Website Maintenance making a difference in Australia, Africa and the Pacific
Matilde Ejlertsen has been volunteering her skills with Carbon Community on a regular basis, donating approximately $1,500 worth of skills per month. Ain’t No mountain High Enough For This Volunteer
Able Management Group (AMG), providing access and opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sport and recreational activities in the Alpine Region, have been connected with goodcompany volunteer, Alice Pyman who, skilled in communications, answered AMG’s wish to take on the entire project of developing their annual report for 2009-2010.
