New website for legal service is “outside the box”!
The North Melbourne Legal Service (NMLS) recently advertised for a volunteer to design a new website for them. They wanted to “revamp [the] website to reflect the youth, enthusiasm and energy in/of [the] organisation” says Mei Poh Lee. They required an innovative web designer who was prepared to go “outside the box” and be able to capture what the organisation was aiming to achieve.
Campbell Imray applied for this volunteer project, and designed a new website which Mei describes as “intuitive, easy to maneuver and attractive”. The website better represents NMLS’s community values and makes information about NMLS more readily available – meeting a key criteria for community accessibility.
Campbell initially provided 80 hours of volunteer work, contributing over $5000 value, and now continues to support NMLC through his web design company (Campbell was profiled in goodnews here).
Mei says the community’s feedback regarding the web site has been excellent. As a community group, being able to afford good, professional external services is a continual challenge.
Mei says goodcompany attract “many professionals of high calibre, with a genuine community spirit”.
