Wishfest 2010 set to launch tonnes more wishes
goodcompany’s month long wish-a-thon Wishfest 2010 is set to launch with more chances than ever to volunteer and make a charity's wish come true.
Wishfest 2010 take place throughout November in a bid to give away as many free professional services to charities as possible.
Now in its fourth year, WishFest 2010 will bring together our base of more than 850 Australian charities with those of you willing to give your skills to make a difference.
And with a veritable feast of new wishes being launched, Wishfest is one of the best times to find the volunteer opportunity to suit you.
“Wishfest will help charities like Starlight Children’s Foundation, Cancer Council, The Heart Foundation, Fred Hollows, Greenpeace, and other lesser known charities, to reach thousands of willing professionals– and receive much needed help,” said goodcompany general manger Andrew Coogan.
“Wishfest also gives volunteers the chance to browse tonnes of new wishes across all kinds of other skill categories. It’s a fantastic celebration of the incredible generosity of Australians, and a platform to raise awareness about skilled volunteering.”
There’s more wishes than ever before with hundreds of new projects to choose from, so now is the time to get involved! What are you waiting for?
