In April 2011 goodcompany welcomed Bankwest as an Engage corporate partner in Western Australia. Bankwest already has a rich culture of community giving and general volunteering, and see skilled volunteering as a wonderful opportunity to engage their own colleagues in personal and professional development by using their diverse skills to help the needs of the community.

Craig Spencer, Head of Community Engagement at Bankwest, is enthusiastic about the implementation of the Engage program "There is so much genuine interest in skilled volunteering from all areas of Bankwest, and with 88 branches across WA and over 3500 colleagues we are hopeful we can make a real difference in our home state."

Supporting the Community

goodcompany, along with Bankwest's Community Partners - Edmund Rice Camps for Kids and Redkite, joined in on the fun of Bankwest's Retail Conference for over 400 of their Branch and Retail division Managers on July 27th in a mini expo to promote skilled volunteering and the great work that Redkite and Edmund Rice Camps do. Much of the interest in volunteering was from regional areas of Western Australia, and from Branches on the east coast of Australia, highlighting how committed Bankwest's employees are in supporting the communities they live and work in.
