The Big Conversation

Conversations don’t happen without conversation starters. And the people responsible for starting this Big Conversation are a network of emerging leaders from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors who want to create positive social change in Australia.

There has been an explosion of conversations about what the global economic crisis means for all of us, what the future holds and what needs to change. Government needs to hear what you think is important.

What values best reflect how our society should operate? What values does our society want to see in the future? The Big Conversation leaders believe that if you want to bring about change you have to get involved. They want to start a conversation. A Big Conversation!

The first Big Conversation is online. By participating in the survey, you’ll be having your say.

So far, over 1,750 people have had their say with more people joining the conversation every day. If you’d like to have your say, you can do the first ever national values survey by clicking here

Once they have the results, the conversation will move into organisations, events and communities all around the country so that a values discussion becomes part of discussion about the future that you want to see.
