American Women's Auxiliary to the Royal Children's Hospital
Description
Group founded in 1931 to raise money to purchase equipment for the Royal Children's Hospital. Members are American women, most are now permanent Australian residents, who raise approx $150,000 each year for the hospital. The group runs fundraising social events that align with american holidays, ie thanksgiving dinner, independence day ball as well as assists the hospital gift shop and craft parties for the children.State
