Somazone is looking for volunteer GPs and doctors to answer young people's questions about stress, acne, body image, medications, diet and exercise.
BACKGROUND:
Somazone (www.somazone.com.au), a project of the Australian Drug Foundation, is a health information website developed by young people for young people.
Central to the site is an anonymous and professional question and answer service that provides young people with clear, unbiased, non-judgmental answers to their questions about sex, sexual health, drugs, mental health issues, harassment, relationships, body image and eating disorders. The site is predominantly aimed at young Australians aged 14–18 years of age, but is accessed by young people worldwide.
QUALITY ASSURANCE:
Somazone applies a quality assurance process to the recruitment of all volunteer health professionals and takes responsibility for all information published on the Somazone website.
