The Dolphin Research Institute is a well-managed and sustainable not-for-profit conservation organisation.The Institute provides Dolphin Research and Marine Education and Conservation services to the community on a not for profit basis for 15 years. Our long-term study of the dolphins in Victoria is one of the world's longest and has resulted in major legislative change and conservation outcomes. Our education programs, which include the innovative "i sea, i care" ambassador program reach a peak audience exceeding 40,000 per month. Formal education programs with children at our Centre or in schools contact over 10,000 per year.
