Gellibrand Residential Services provides residential placement and support to adults with an intellectual disability, in addition Clients may have physical disabilities or psychiatric illness. Clients of Gellibrand Residential Services are supported to make dignified lifestyle choices and pursue a quality of life available in the general community.

Gellibrand Residential Services operates 7 Community Residential Units (CRUs) throughout the western suburbs of Melbourne providing 24 hour support to 38 Clients. In addition to the CRUs Gellibrand Residential Services runs a Home Support Service supporting 15 Clients in their own homes. Gellibrand Residential Services has an administrative office at Withers St in Sunshine and a recreation and training facility, known as the Jenny Burbidge Centre (JBC), at Ann St in Williamstown.

Gellibrand Residential Services offers training and support to adults with an intellectual disability in areas such as daily living skills, leisure options, financial management, health management, and goal setting and attainment.

Gellibrand Residential Services focuses on promoting the rights and responsibilities of each individual and supports Clients to be independent in all areas of life by providing opportunities to develop skills, make informed choices and decisions, and allowing natural consequences to occur to support learning.
