Description

At the invitation of Ministry of Health officials in recipient Asian Pacific countries, we send volunteer teams of plastic reconstructive surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses to work with local counterparts to repair congenital or acquired conditions, such as cleft lip/palate and burn contractures, of indigent patients and provide training.

The demand for our programs is high and constrained only by funding.

The difference Interplast makes to the individual, their families, and the community is instant, enormous and long lasting. Ultimately Interplasts work contributes to the alleviation of a life time of living with a disability, isolation, poverty and in many cases, premature death.
