Description

The Kevin Heinze Garden Centre is a unique community organisation providing social inclusion, horticulture based therapy, recreational gardening and pre-vocational training.
Working with children and adults with disabilities it has remained a popular choice of program for many people who would otherwise not have the opportunity to engage in natural healthy activities. The people who attend come from over 40 community groups with participants drawn from the north, south and eastern metropolitan regions. All participants in our programs have a disability, are frail aged or have some other significant disadvantage. The Centre provides over 15,000 contact hours each year supported by 80 volunteers.
