We are an independent research institute who undertakes mainly health based research into diverse aspects of ageing including psychosocial, public, preventive and clinical conditions. We currently have a strong focus on dementia, stroke, pain, carers, nutrition, falls, information and guidelines for interventions and evaluation of services.
