Description

Nonprofit Australia is relatively new organisation (established late 2004) and one of the first of its kind in Australia. Our mission is to support and extend the effectiveness and efficiency of the nonprofit sector. Specifically we develop initiatives to increase the learning and development opportunities available to nonprofit leaders; support greater cooperation within the nonprofit sector (reduce fragmentation and duplication); and tackle cost and financing inefficiencies. We are an independent nonprofit organisation, working in partnership with government, corporate and private philanthropy and the nonprofit sector itself. Our establishment was made possible by a two-year establishment grant by the Commonwealth Government.
