Save the Children works in Australia and all over the world, advocating for children's rights. We believe that children should have a voice; they deserve to be treated fairly and not exploited; they should have access to food, healthcare and education; they should be able to be children. We're working all over the world to help make this happen. Through our programs, Save the Children tackles key children's rights issues - health, education, nutrition and food security, exploitation and abuse, disability and early childhood development. We also possesses considerable expertise in more specialised fields such as conflict and disaster, family tracing and unification (for children separated by war or natural disaster), the rehabilitation of child ex-combatants, alternatives to institutional care and support for working children.
