SHINE for Kids was formed in 1982 as the Children of Prisoners' Support Group by a group of people interested in supporting children of prisoners. It is estimated there are over 15,000 children in NSW alone who have a primary carer or parent in full-time custody. SHINE for Kids has built up considerable expertise in the provision of services to meet the needs of these children.State
