Description
SCC (Vic) was founded as Southern Cross Homes in 1969 by the Knights of the Southern Cross. SCC (Vic) opened it first independent living unit site in Canterbury in 1971 and in the past 35 years has established four low-cost housing sites, ten residential care facilities of which eight are still managed by SCC (Vic), four independent living unit sites co-located with a residential facility, three lifestyle villages and community services in seven Victorian regions. SCC (Vic) cares for more than 2,700 Victorian seniors and is part of a National network called Southern Cross Care (Australia) Incorporated.Website
