Description
Southern Health is the largest metropolitan health service in Victoria. We provide comprehensive primary, secondary and tertiary health care services to people living in the south-eastern suburbs of metropolitan Melbourne. We provide services to an area in excess of 2,800 square kilometres with a population of over 750,000. The primary catchment area includes the cities of Cardinia, Casey, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash. We also provide specialist services to a rural catchment including Gippsland.Our services are provided from a number of hospitals and community health services. They include Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Monash Medical Centre Moorabbin, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Kingston Centre, Cardinia Casey Community Health Service – Berwick, Cranbourne, Doveton, Cockatoo and Pakenham, Greater Dandenong Community Health Service – Dandenong and Springvale, Primary Care Services and Mental Health Services.
