At Taskforce that’s exactly what we do!
Our team works with some of the most disadvantaged people in our community.
People experiencing hardship and poverty.
People who are socially isolated, no networks, no family and no support
People living with drug and alcohol addiction – or supporting a loved one
People who have been (or still are) in the criminal justice systems
People who are unemployed, homeless and isolated.

Young people sleeping on park benches, young women who survive by becomoing sex workers, mothers who can't afford to provide a meal for their children. These people want to CHANGE their lives.

Taskforce was set up in 1973 by a number of people in the community who were facing these issues. They believed that their families and children deserved a better future – a future with hope. Today – we still hold that same belief, that together we can make a difference - and that is what we do.
