Description

The Asbestos Information & Support Services Inc (AISS) is a not-for-profit charitable organisation that survives solely on donations. AISS provides free information on the safe removal of asbestos from the home environment, support and assistance to asbestos disease victims and their families, promotion of medical research into asbestos disease and treatments and many other relevant services. As well as it's support activities, AISS aims to educate the general community about the dangers of asbestos, with the ultimate goal being the eradication of asbestos from our environment. AISS is mainly made up of committed volunteers many of whom have been personally touched by asbestos disease.
