The Barefoot Doctors is a registered Humanitarian Aid Agency for Holistic Health Care; our goal is to provide non-profit and community organisations with access to quality holistic health services and advice. In Sydney we currently run a TCM clinic for the survivors of torture and trauma, naturopathic and nutritional advice for youth in crisis, movement therapy classes for middle eastern PTSD sufferers and a comprehensive naturopathic and body work clinic for Asylum seekers. As we move towards a greater national presence we require a Volunteer Co-ordinator to manage and support the volunteers in our sydney projects. This requires both a familiarity and knowledge of the holistic health care sector / wellness industry, and relevant managerial experience.

Familiarity with the community sector is prefered, but not essential. A strong commitment of six months is essential however, with a flexible availability from between 2 and 6 hours per week.
