The People and Parks Foundation is an Australian based not-for-profit charity. Our mission is to improve the physical, mental and social health and wellbeing of people, and ensure the sustainability of parks. We develop innovative programs that increase people and park interactions, across Australia and internationally.

Founded on the concept that a healthy environment, a healthy community and a healthy lifestyle are inextricably linked, The People and Parks Foundation's programs encourage people to combine the benefits of physical and mental activity with the health benefits of interaction with nature.

In addition to the human health and wellbeing benefits these programs help build a stronger relevance of parks in people's lives, a greater understanding and appreciation of the value of these special places and initiatives on how to care and protect them into the future.
