About TSFThe Smith Family (TSF) is a national, independent, non-profit organisation committed to helping disadvantaged children realise their potential through education
Our suite of educational and learning programs currently supports over 27,000 students across 95 communities nationally. These programs provide financially disadvantaged children with scholarships to assist with school expenses and access to a critical network of personal support programs, which together help to break the cycle of disadvantage.
Research has shown that supporting a child's education is one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of disadvantage. With the benefit of a good education, children are considerably less likely to carry the disadvantage of their present economic situation into the future.
About the project - Payroll Services Review
TSF would like to evaluate all options for its future payroll system. This will include determining if we will continue with our partially outsourced model, evaluate our future payroll functionality needs and recommend a way forward based on a sound financial business case.
In scope:
• Review the existing systems strengths and weaknesses.
• Evaluation of new payroll solutions.
• Evaluate in house/outsource options.
• Develop a business case with a recommended way forward.

This project while administrative in nature, focuses on the internal efficiency of our systems and processes, it enables us to continue to support over 27,000 students in 95 communities, nationally - Helping disadvantaged Australian children reach their potential through education.
