Description

Originally the Victorian Aids Action Committee (VAAC), the Victorian Aids Council (VAC) was formed in 1984 as an organisation the government would fund. The VAC provides health and educational programs, clinics and counselling as well as a community centre, emotional and practical support such as a legal service, youth/peer support, alternative therapies, massage, healing, meals, pantry and social inclusion project.
