Description

Women's Health Victoria was formed as a result of the 1993 amalgamation of Health Sharing Women (established in 1988) and Women's Health Information Resource Collective (established in 1983). The amalgamated organisation was known as Health Sharing Women's Health Resource Service until 1996. In 1996, the name of the organisation was changed to Women's Health Victoria and the development of an information clearinghouse commenced.
