FAQ
FAQ for New Groups
Question: Does it cost anything to register?
Answer: No.
It is free to register as a goodcompany community group. You just need to have Deductible Gift Recipiency (DGR) status, volunteers insurance and operate in either Melbourne or Sydney. (We'll get to the other capital cities soon!)
Question: I think I am registered but I can't seem to submit wishes?
Answer: If you haven't completed all three stages of the registration process, you won't be able to submit wishes yet (three stages outlined below). If you are unsure about what stage you are up to, please contact goodcompany and we will assist you to complete your registration.
Question: I am new to goodcompany, how do I register as a community group?
Answer: Registration involves 3 stages.
Stage 1: Click here and create yourself a username and account.
Stage 2: Complete an application form.
After you have completed stage 1, we will email you a link to a detailed application form.
Stage 3: Training Workshop.
You will then be invited to attend a special training workshop to show you exactly how you can best utilise our services (these occur every 6-8 weeks in Melbourne and Sydney CBD. A reminder will be included in the goodnews).
After you have completed all of these stages, goodcompany will approve your registration, activate your account and you are free to submit your wishes for skilled volunteers at any time of the day or night.
FAQ for Exisiting Groups

Answer: Yes.
We can set up several user accounts for your organisation. Just contact goodcompany via phone or email with the name and email addresses of these people and we will add them to your existing goodcompany account.
Question: I think my organisation is already registered with goodcompany, but I am new and I don't know how to use your service.
Answer: We recommend you come along to one of our training workshops. These occur in Melbourne and Sydney CBD every 6-8 weeks. We will place a reminder in the next edition of goodnews.

Question: Can you give me some tips on writing good wishes?
Answer: Yes.
Click here to read our tips page.
Question: Do the wishes have an expiry date?
Answer: Yes
We encourage you to let us know if your wish has past its deadline and we will close it (see below). Every couple of months goodcompany conducts an audit of all wishes on the site and closes any wishes that are past their deadline or are very old. In the near future, wishes will be automatically taken off the site after a period of time.
Question: Can I delete a wish from the site?
Answer: Yes.
You can delete an open wish by emailing mail@goodcompany.com.au with the title of the wish in the subject and we will close the wish.
