When we surveyed our volunteers, the main reason preventing them from volunteering was that there were no wishes that matched their skills/interests.

When we send out goodnews to our volunteers on the 2nd Friday of each month, we like promote as many new wishes as possible. New wishes keep our volunteers engaged and makes them more interested in offering their skills.

Currently, the types of wishes being picked by quickly by volunteers are in the areas of:

• Graphic design and desktop publishing
• Website design and database help
• Legal advice (ie. contracts, constitutional, employment, property)
• Business/strategy advice
• Public speaking/facilitation/training opportunities
