Fostering great designs
Jo Vautier is a partner in small design company KJO Designs. She first became interested in joining goodcompany after hearing about it from one of her clients. “I already donate a significant amount of money to different charities, and decided it would be more rewarding to actually offer my skills instead”.
Jo was drawn to community groups providing foster care services and responded to a wish from the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare. The group was seeking help with the design of new promotional materials to raise its profile and promote its new identity and slogan: Foster Care – Making small miracles happen
Jo completed two banners, a poster, postcard and bookmark amongst other pieces. Emily Duizend a Project Officer for the State-wide Foster Care Program said she was “very happy” and that they were “using the new materials across Victoria to positively promote foster care to the community”.
The promotional materials are proving a resounding success as the centre now receives an even greater number of calls from interested potential foster carers.
A fantastic working relationship now exists between KJo Designs and the Centre for Excellence, with Emily and Jo continuing to work together.
Another terrific goodcompany outcome!
