Putting the ‘Fun’ Back into Fundraising
Camp Quality seeks to bring hope and happiness to children living with cancer, and was looking to repeat the success of its NSW Advisory Council, which provides excellent support in the areas of publicity, events, education and fundraising.
Michelle Rule of Camp Quality Victoria said she was “most impressed with the calibre of applicants” through goodcompany, specifically a wish seeking members for the newly established Camp Quality Victorian Advisory Council.
Through goodcompany, Michelle managed to find an extremely pro-active volunteer in Stephanie Carullo, Managing Director for Industry and Government at Telstra.
In her short time with Camp Quality, Stephanie has made an enormous difference. She has already provided what Michelle describes as nothing less than “amazing ideas and networking opportunities”. Her approach to fundraising draws on 15 years of working for Australian corporations.
She is currently involved with a fundraising initiative called ‘Ladies on the Green’. As Stephanie said, “we are committed at Camp Quality to finding new, fun ways of raising money. With golf being so popular today, and with our patron Deborah Hutton being a great golfer, we thought this would be a great opportunity to combine fitness, fun and networking, all at the same event”.
