The Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) is a not-for-profit organisation that partners schools with business through mentoring programs to improve opportunities and outcomes for disadvantaged students. Through our Foundation we also offer financial and mentoring scholarships to exceptional students facing significant hardship.
ABCN was established in 2005 by a group of senior business leaders whose vision was to inspire, challenge and engage businesses to have a greater positive impact in the community. Today we are supported by over 30 member companies and led by an experienced body of CEOs who participate in our programs and support their employees to do the same.
Together we work with a network of public schools across Australia to deliver a range of critical skills, employability and leadership programs that involve business professionals mentoring students. All programs are provided at no cost to the schools or the students.
The Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) Scholarship Foundation provides financial scholarships and mentoring support to students with high potential, who are experiencing economic, family or social challenges.
Scholarship students receive a financial scholarship of $7,000 over three years and access to mentoring, coaching and networking workshops.
Scholarship winners typically face significant financial, social or family challenges and would benefit greatly from financial and mentoring support to enable them to achieve their potential and access their educational goals.
A single scholarship can change a whole family's future.
