ATHLETICS DAY WITH SUNSHINE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Come and join in the fun with the students at Sunshine Primary on their Athletics Day! With the whole school participating, the activities consist of a range of track and field events with your role running a designated activity. This includes a bit of crowd control, measuring distances, picking up poles and starting the races. Do not worry, you don’t have to be an expert in athletics and there is a briefing session before the event starts. You will have a very rewarding experience as you help to engage and encourage the students participating in these sporting activities, many of which come from vulnerable backgrounds or are recent arrivals to Australia. As well as being a positive adult working role model and important assistance to the school on the day, it is a great opportunity to support a local school community and have some fun with the children!
